Environment is defined as “what surrounds us.” If God would open our eyes, surrounding us completely is the heavenly dimension. And it is incumbent upon the sons of God to sustain a heavenly environment. Sustaining a heavenly environment creates an atmosphere of love. As members of the New Covenant family of God, we are under the jurisdiction of a royal inheritance system. This system is held together by the fact that the King owns everything! Because the King has no reason to expand His power base, nor does He have gender biases, female and male sons inherit alike in His system. No one is left out! Provisions in this inheritance system are limitless. The scripture says, “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together” (Romans 8:16-17, KJV). It, then, behooves everyone to learn all they can about our inheritance in Christ. True fathers think generationally and not just for the immediacy of the moment. A wise father will leave his children an inheritance.
